Running on Zero

Whatever you changed past two days is now making the demo crash, with random errors. I can only do one image now and it crashes, with various messages. If free demo don't understand why a payment is needed. Good product but this will make me move to another free app, its too hard to use now.

Thanks for reaching out and sharing your feedback. We wanted to clarify the recent changes to MagicQuill:

• The Demo Setup: Hugging Face has generously sponsored our research demo with 4 free L4 GPUs for nearly two years. Recently, the hosting plan was updated to ZeroGPU to keep the Space running sustainably. This does come with standard daily limits managed by the platform, but it ensures the project can stay online and free for everyone.

• Fixing the Crashes: Moving to ZeroGPU required a major code transition on our end, which unfortunately introduced some stability issues and random errors over the past few days. It is definitely not an intentional paywall—just some annoying bugs we need to iron out.

• Run it Locally: If you need unlimited usage, please note that our complete codebase and all checkpoints are fully open-source. You are always welcome to clone the repository and run MagicQuill locally on your own hardware.

• Help Us Fix It: If you run into a crash on this demo, please share the exact error message or a screenshot here. Knowing exactly what failed will help us pinpoint and fix the issues much faster.

We are a small research team maintaining this open-source project, and we really appreciate your patience while we get everything running smoothly again!

thanks for update. at the moment it is random, sometimes one image, sometimes three free, then it blocks. no consistency. This is the frustrating additional part. then "accelerator error" is the consistent message and sometimes it just hangs. I am leaving the demo now and will locally download or find an alternative. thanks for your efforts
